Lake Catherine State Park Reviews & Ratings
Well spaced campsites. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Friendly park staff. We hiked, kayaked, visited the park store, fished, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Next trip we may stay in one of the cabins. Be sure to fully secure your coolers as they have very smart raccoons!
One of the nicest State Parks we have stayed. We originally were staying for four days and extended our stay for a week. So much to do in the area and the Park was very convenient to get to these places. Exceptional staff. Very quiet and relaxing park. We stayed in Site 58 which is on the water. Has 50 amp and sewer.
Cannot say enough about this place. I grew up coming here and recently got to hike one of the trails again. The waterfall is just gorgeous and camping here is always a blast. This place will always be special to me and I believe anybody who comes here will find it memorable. Nice facilities, lots of wildlife and peaceful nature.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great campsites! Easy to get lost on the yellow trail as some of the markers are missing and it is not as well maintained as the red trail. If the longer trails were better maintained I would give 5 stars.
The trails needs to be more specific on which one is the shorter route. We were told which way to take but then when we did the hike it ended up being the long route. Overall I had a good time but sad that we was there longer and didn't get to next location. I suggest to anyone to make sure you have plenty of time if going hiking here or anywhere.
