Formerly known as Oaklawn Park Race Track, the place’s history dates back to 19th century when it was established to encourage the gaming spirit among masses and provide an outlet for some fun. Today, as the place host the major Racing Festival of the Arkansas along with numerous other games and championships, it is hardly a surprise to see it being such a rage among people. What started as a horse racing track is now home to many other frolics such as poker room, High Limits area, and food and drink section making it the largest gaming facility in the state. • This is a very nice place! We went to the casino side, since there were no races at the time. I love to play Texas hold em! I was intrigued by the combination of traditional dealer and RFID technology. I had a blast! Much more relaxed than Vegas.

  • This is a MUCH larger casino than web searches made it seem. It's not old-fashioned or outdated. It is very clean. They have good promotions too. The drawback is it wasn't easy for out-of-town visitors to see the casino entry or to know where to park. From outside, it looked dull, boring, plain and "dead" with no guests. Maybe we parked on the wrong side? Inside it is nice, there were tons of visitors and it seems all staff run the place smoothly, regardless of promotion traffic. It's about five hours from my home but it's one we will keep on our visit list in case we're back that direction another time. :)

  • The sports betting was so fun and easy. I wish there was more NON smoking areas, but it isn't as bad as the Oklahoma casinos. Staff was friendly and can't wait for the hotel to be built to visit again.

  • I had a great time. I went on hot springs village day. I got to scratch off a ticket which gave me $5.00 more dollars in free play and I had a very nice lunch for only $5.00. I had a great Thursday agternoon.

  • I can never seem to hit good with the slots in this casino. I always have better luck in other places. They must need the money for the renovations that they are doing. Pretty small size casino with not many different slot machines.
