Build and assembled by Frank Moshinskie decades ago, this miniature city today stands as a popular attraction among folks and travellers. Now called as Tiny Town, it started off as a humble under-the-Christmas-tree which grew over the time thanks to the constant efforts of Frank for 68 years. The interactive model railroad is functioning and open for visitors to try their hands on it. The animated railroad let you pass the train through about 22 states and varied places including Mount Rushmore and Niagara Falls. What’s more interesting is that the museum like place has been completely handcrafted and was created by using waste. All in all, the place is the perfect example of creativity at its peak and definitely somewhere to stop by for a while.

Tiny Town Reviews & Ratings

  • Very interesting piece of work. It is one solid structure and not several smaller pieces as I initially thought. A good portion of it contains moving parts and lights. Was worth the cheap entry fee and does not feel like a tourist trap.

  • The amount of work put into making this Tiny Towns display made mostly from recycled/repurposed materials was incredible. I hope some folks from the current generation will step up to maintain it for future generations to enjoy.

  • Wow! A smile on face, the history with passion really brings the admiration that I applaud and really hope this is shared. This is a true treasure of an artist with unsurpassed passion that is shared with the public in humility and I LOVED IT! Thank God for this place. It really helped me in seeing all the work that few would apply and others keep alive, just phenomenal experience.

  • My grandson's loved it!!! Amazing what a family created and the detail involved. Always something new to spot no matter how long you look.

  • Very nostalgic. Everything is vintage and handmade, but finely crafted. Worth it for all the vintage toy cars, boats and trains. Hand carved folks throughout the town. Many, many moving parts and scenes with buttons to push. Lots of lights, you get to see it in the dark, also. We even asked to see the underside, it's all vintage, repurposed motors. Tiny gift shop for kids of all ages. Delightful tour guide, and gave us tips on visiting Hot Springs.
