Eagle river falls is a pretty and picturesque sight to watch. Located in the Eagle River, it falls from a great height and plunges into a volcanic basalt which is a deep bowl before finally making its way into the Lake Superior. The water is diverted a bit by the dam that is located on the rock top, moving it to the right side in a concave shape. The water is at its maximum flow during the spring and the thin trail transforms into a powerful water cascade. The view of this fall can be best sighted from a pedestrian wooden bridge which eventually leads down to the parking area.
