GREAT PLACE! I love the Kemah boardwalk! The rides are awesome and the entire place has a great ocean boardwalk feel to it. I believe winter is the best time to go. The Christmas decorations are beautiful. At night, this place is beautiful! A great escape. Pricey food and drinks.
I love Kemah Boardwalk! I just moved here not too long ago. It’s very busy during the summer. It’s a popular tourist attraction. Once school is back in, it’s kind of a ghost town during the day. Wish it was as lively during fall months as it is during the summer (that’s just my preference). But if you like quiet, less crowded areas definitely visit here in the fall! I brought my family here last week and they loved it. So scenic next to the water. Lots of great restaurants. Something to do with your family once a week if you’re a local. And definitely a must see if you’re a tourist!!
Saturday's visit was Fantastic. 5 STARS. Kid had a blast! Very nice but small amusement park. Pricey food and drinks...$4.25 for a bottled 20oz soda. Sunday's visit however earns less stars. 3 Stars. Customer service was an issue on this visit. The train was out of order and this is understandable however when I asked the operator about the operation of the train she was more than rude in her response. She repeated the same answer three times each time with a bit more volume. The guy in the red shirt on the other side of the train kindly explained, only one time, that the train was receiving maintenance..How easy was that and no yelling necessary. Anyway, she didn't spoil our good time but she surely attempted to intimidate by sending an ugly frown anytime she walked pass my kid and me.
GREAT PLACE! I love the Kemah boardwalk! The rides are very fun and the entire place has a great ocean/boardwalk feel to it. It gets really hot in the summer, so beware! I believe winter is the best time to go. The Christmas decorations are beautiful and it won't get too hot waiting in line for rides.
The kemah boardwalk is such a fun and exciting experience. It's so different, we don't have a lot of places like this in Texas. We went during Halloween and the costumes, games and activities, and the music were all amazing. The live band is so good! They really help make the boardwalk special. Would recommend going at night as the setting sun and lights are spectacular.
