Old Town Spring - Review

Old Town Spring is an area in old Houston. This small area is perhaps the oldest area in the city and its history can be traced back to the Native Americans who lived here. It is a neat little town area with many of the old-timey houses still intact.

Several fests and events take place here. There are many wining and dining options as well as shopping places to buy typical Texan souvenirs and such objects.

If you want to get a feel of what Houston looked like in the past do visit this lovely area to enjoy a walk back in time. This place is especially wonderful to visit for the Christmas Markets in winter when it is beautifully lit up at night.

  • My family and I LOVE visiting Old Town Spring. It is a small village type of area so you walk from store to store. Christmas time is absolutely gorgeous. They decorate all the buildings and go all out. Summer can get hot, but that’s Texas for ya. Beautiful old buildings and plenty of handmade items to look through.

  • Old Town springs for me it's a really cool place. This was my first time going. and I ended up really liking it we went during Christmas time so it was decorated with Christmas stuff. I'm actually thinking about going this year again so hopefully if everything goes good I will be visiting or tan Springs again. they also have this really cool horse ride like a carriage ride that is really amazing and I loved it

  • Not a lot of real antiques, mostly decorator accent and boutiques, but still,a quaint and charming town. Turned into an outdoor mall. A fun way to spend the day! You will probably find something to buy! I did!

  • Great place for Pokemon hunting with tons of cute shops. Not as lively as it used to be, but I still love to visit it regularly and the shop owners are super friendly! We attend Pet Fest here every year

  • Many people love the quaint feel of this shopping area. I prefer something newer and more organized. If you were in a wheelchair, forget it. There would be no way that you could travel through this little town. There’s no good parking. And no safe sidewalks. Some of the stores are cute but nothing is convenient and things are pricey.
