Old Town Spring is an area in old Houston. This small area is perhaps the oldest area in the city and its history can be traced back to the Native Americans who lived here. It is a neat little town area with many of the old-timey houses still intact.

Several fests and events take place here. There are many wining and dining options as well as shopping places to buy typical Texan souvenirs and such objects.

If you want to get a feel of what Houston looked like in the past do visit this lovely area to enjoy a walk back in time. This place is especially wonderful to visit for the Christmas Markets in winter when it is beautifully lit up at night.

  • Want to feel like you're in a quaint tiny town while actually being in a large busy city? Then Old Town Spring is the ticket. Want to shop one of a kind boutiques? Want to sell your vintage threads or hand made crafts at a consignment shop? Want to have a mother- daughter-sister-friend spa day? Want to defeat an Escape room? Want to sample local food and sweets? Want to visit a museum and learn about the origins of this town? I could go on and on but why not go and see for yourself. It's truly one of my favorite detox getaways. Retail therapy awaits you in Old Town Spring.

  • A pleasant day trip cafes , restaurants small shops with art and handcrafted goods. There is plenty of free parking, sand permanent public restrooms. Scattered benches to organize purchase. Small enough to walk .It is clean and merchants welcoming. A nice day trip from Houston or a destination to pick up a few bespoke items for your home.

  • Stopped by while visiting Houston. Was very nice to walk around. Lots of neat little shops. Friendly people. Nice and peaceful way to spend an afternoon. A bit tough to find parking, but it seems to be a popular place. Definitely will try and stop again if I’m in the area!

  • Not just antiques like it used to be. But nice to walk around & see. Be careful too, many cars cut through this area. They speed way to fast. They REALLY need speed bumps at least on the right side of the forked road. I am ALL for speed bumps here. I would hate to hear someone being hit or killed. They do Ghost Walks too. And those are at night, with lots of people walking in the dark. The area surrounding here needs to be revitalized. Festivals when they shut down the streets are the best. You can walk around freely. I DO NOT agree with them charging for parking. These are small businesses they NEED business. Should be free parking, to encourage more people to visit.

  • This is SUCH a cute little town! The entire area is a compilation of tiny homes converted into shops galore. It's a really fun place to explore to get coffee, shop around, or bring out of town guests. Old Town Spring has got a lot of charm and we can't wait to go back.
