Dyraheio is a landscaping area in Norway. This area is preserved for creating a cohesive mountain range. The government realized that it is important to take care of unspoiled nature, rich flora and fauna and ancient forests. So, the area was nationally designated in 1997. It is spread across more than three-hundred square kilometres of land. Sightings of moose and deer are very common. Birds like eagles, hunting falcons, dwarf Falcons and hub-roen can also be found here. Do not forget to carry a pair of binoculars if you are interested in bird-watching.
