  • We had a really good lunch here yesterday. Chicken salad, chickpea salad, calamari and chicken and chips, all very tasty. Lots of seating outside overlooking the beach and sea. Quick, friendly service, clean toilets. All in all highly recommended, wish we’d stayed there longer.

  • Beautiful location for a summer pint on the beach, spacious indoors but most importantly lots of benches on the promenade and beach. Food is wonderful but word of warning, eat inside as the seagulls around here really mean business and will terrorise you which is not fun. Oh and please don't feed them as this makes them worse for everyone... They have the entire English channel to get food from guys! This place is also great to hire out for functions as it is on its own so your party can enjoy the whole venue and what feels like their own private bit of beach... Awesome

  • Had my wedding reception here. (Downstairs). The room is adequate for about 70 too 80 guest's. The manager Steve is nice bloke. But we paid a small fortune for our catering, and never got what we asked for. Tried giving me free pizza and chip's. Overall, from all the hiccups, from trying too get access, to the function room. Too not providing enough staff on the night, and missing some item's on the catering. I definitely won't be returning. GOT LET DOWN

  • Overpriced, v average burger, could do much better Firstly, the bun was good, decent mixed grain bread which was not soggy. However in part this was because the burger was overcooked and hence very dry. Chips were good, however the three onion rings were undercooked and soggy. For the price, I'd expected much much better, especially as Grubbs do much better at half the price. Maybe as it was a quiet lunchtime the chef wasn't around, but burger & chips is hardly difficult to do!! Location on seafront is wonderful, food deserves to be as good.

  • This place is situated immediately adjacent to the beach with pub style tables on the pebbles. On a sunny day it is a lovely spot. Today was cool and windy, typical British summer, hence we where inside. Which is cold, shabby and unwelcoming. No ales, just lager and Guinness.which was expensive at £5.20 for a pint and the same for a bottle of APA. Cannot comment on food quality as £14.95 for a burger was just to much, especially for such a scruffy place. We left and ate elsewhere.
