The park, which is spread across over four-hundred acres of land, was opened in 1986. It is Wirral's largest park today. Though the park was opened before thirty years, the area has a history of more than five-thousand years. This area was densely forested around the shore. It is still known as submerged forest. There are few points in the park where you can see this. There are regular walking tracks around the park. But, it is more famous for horse riding and bird watching. Sailing and picnicking are also allowed in the park. The scenery is beautiful all around the place. But, if you visit around sunset, breath-taking views will soothe your mind.
