The park, which is spread across over four-hundred acres of land, was opened in 1986. It is Wirral's largest park today. Though the park was opened before thirty years, the area has a history of more than five-thousand years. This area was densely forested around the shore. It is still known as submerged forest. There are few points in the park where you can see this. There are regular walking tracks around the park. But, it is more famous for horse riding and bird watching. Sailing and picnicking are also allowed in the park. The scenery is beautiful all around the place. But, if you visit around sunset, breath-taking views will soothe your mind.

  • Just wish this place and some toilets. A cafe would be nice but might spoil the area. A beautiful place to walk your dog in safety. You can either park in first car park and walk through a field, across the sand dunes (all along a path way) and onto beach, or park at small beach side car park and walk straight into the beach. You can walk towards Morteon shore or towards New Brighton. Great place, but as I say lacks toilets, and they were going to try and make you pay for parking!!!

  • Beautiful place to walk in the summer. A nice walk from the Derby Pool restaurant towards Leasowe and onwards. Gorgeous sea views and great place to watch the sun set on a summers evening

  • Beautiful coastline, perfect walk on a very cold but sunny day, so lucky to live where we live😊

  • We have the most beautiful coastline on the world. Clean sand, sand dunes, easy access

  • Me & the boys love it here... only thing missing is a dog shower! Prob an over expectation!
