Black Mountain Water Park, Hua Hin Reviews
We were quite disappointed the very first time of our visit. We were there 4 adults 5 kids age between 9, 10 and 16 But we had to pay for 8 adult tickets because the kids are taller than 140cm. The entrance fee is categorised by the height of a person not the age. There are adult price and kid price.Kids taller than 140 cm.is considered as an "adult". One of my girls is 9 years old and is taller than 140(143cm )and we had to pay for an adult price because of few cm.more . The staff are "strict"with the measurement. If they were not sure about the height , they would have the kids measured "strictly",even though on the measuring board ,there s only big scale like 120cm, 130cm, 140cm, 150cm..etc.and no small scale in between. So any body taller than 140 is adult. A boy from other family was at measure and is obviously taller than my kid , but the staff said ...it was ok , he paid kid price no problem.!!! And I was like.... Excuse me????? Discrimination???? After about half an hour of discussion, the manager gave us the better solution to maintain the customers satisfactory.(Just 2 of our kids paid adult price) as a compromise.thank you by the way. Any way I find the fee system ridiculous and sometimes it causes discrimination. It should be clear and precise ,for example ... Kids: 0-5 y. Free Kids: 6-16y. 300 baht. Adult: 17 y. up 600 baht. It was the strangest entrance fee system I ever experienced.
We had a great time here! Much cheaper than Vana Nava and loads to do for everyone - you can even go wakeboarding in the lake next to the water park for 300 baht extra... The place was lovely and quiet, with no queues for anything (We went mid-week), although it is apparently much busier at weekends! The staff were all very friendly and the food on offer was very reasonably priced too (they offer a mixture of Thai and western food). Highly recommended for a visit...
Not a big and many attractions are Vana Nana but it's absolutely not crowded as it is far away from town (actually just 20 mins free shuttle bus journey) . Market village will u take the shuttle bus. Four shuttles everyday To and from the park .
This Waterpark is not as new and fancy as Vananava but it is much more reasonably priced. Especially for smaller children (2-10) you will find all the fun and thrills you need. Because Vananava has become soooo popular Black Mountain Water Park is usually not so crowded (like Vananava), so in my view it became a bit of a secret/hidden attraction.
A great place to go with family and friends. Has restaurants, different types of pools, and a voleyball place! You can even feed the fishes with your kids and friends!
