Hawker style food? Checked. Live Musical? Checked Beer on tap?Checked Live Band? Checked Hipster Night Market?Checked Fire breathing performer? 🔥 Checked What's not to like about this place ? One thing to note, is that one will need to change for coupons to purchase food. And it's get really hot and warm with the crowds. Other than that it has been a joy.
Great, clean, spacious market. We didn't feel too crowded with our baby in the pushchair here. It has enough space to get through with a pushchair easily. It was nice to go and have a look around. There were 2 areas where there was evening entertainment, 1 was live music by a bar and another was some sort of performance by the entrance. I only bought a pair of earrings but they do have some nice bits. The food was the best part. You have to buy coupons as almost all stalls take these and not cash. Then you can wander around and buy whichever type of food you like. Great for big groups like us as we could all choosr our own tastes and dine together. They have such a variety, from pizza to Thai curries to seafood. Eating area is sheltered too.
Loved the place. Excellent night market. In fact one of the best night markets here in Thailand. It's in Hua Hin. Lots of stalls to visit and wonder around. Lots food stall to choose and eat your heart out. Great place to spend an entire afternoon and night. Although it's open till 11 I guess.
I’ve been to numerous night markets around the world I’d say cicada is definitely one of my top 5 favorite night markets to go to. A very large variety of food which would make you fully satisfied along with the reasonable pricing. The food court was very well organized and set up, and the most important part is the food court is very clean and neat. When you’re done eating, you can walk around and shop for clothing or handcrafted items, there were also many artists selling their art pieces and that also makes cicada a very hip and chic place to go! Not your average night market it’s definitely worth a visit!! One of the must go place to visit when you’re in Hua Hin
I would rate it as the best night market of Thailand mainly because it is so clean, neatly arranged, has a touch of being exclusive and offers so much. It even has a hip hop dance performance by local kids an open air theatre with a very exciting stage performance and arrangements but the best part is the exhibition of so many art works. The food court is one of the biggest and cleanest. There is a bar with live band performances. Adequate parking is available near by. The sea breeze at night makes the place simply wonderful. A must see and worth visiting second time as well.
