Spread across a stretch of 5 kilometres, the Hua Hin Beach is informally divided into sections. The main part of the beach one sees from the road (the one having boulders scattered around) is good for people watching only! Walk down south for a while to reach the part where you will find sun bathers and swimmers having a time of their lives. If you walk up north along the beach, you will come across the family friendly side of the beach along with touristy stuff like pony rides, small cafes and the likes. The Hua Hin Beach is a must visit while on your vacation.

  • The beach is kind of hard to reach and whilst it is nice there's much better to be had elsewhere in Thailand. There were also lots of dead jellyfish on the beach, got stung by a tentacle that must have just been loose for whatever reason (like chopped by a boat propeller). Not a bad sting but there was no vinegar at any of the medical stations.

  • Walk along the beach you can find horses walking around for you to ride but their waste are not pick up by the some of the owners, so you will get some smell of it. It will be great if the cleanliness of the beach to be improve by the authority as we walked along there are nails with the leaves, jellyfish wash off onshore, plastics, etc. There are helpful tourists picked up the waste near the beach with a full bag of waste instead of the local residents.

  • Nice sand. You can walk out for a way an it is only waist deep . The waves were large the day I was there . About 3 and a half kilometers long.

  • Had some horseriding that was nice, although I have never been on a horse and the guy walked off and let me ride it alone, the horse decided to buck... Lucky I'm a natural 😂 The beach has way tooany people trying to rent out sunbeds so it's just rammed with beds and people coming up to you asking you to lay down. Some more vacant patches if you walk up though.

  • For us it was impossible to swim and to sunbath. We mainly walked on Hua Hin beach. We had to walk far to find a free, clean patch of beach as lots of sun loungers take up space with locals calling you to rent one as you walk by. Locals work with horses on the beach. Tourists can also ride a horse along the beach which means you have to watch out for horse poo.. shame. Also because horse poo attracts a huge amount of annoying flies. An other issue is the jellyfish. There are loads both washed up on beach and in the sea so going for a swim is at your own risk. Along the beach are hotels so unless you're staying in one of these you have to find a public path which takes you from the road to the beach. There are not many or easy to find and the hotels are not welcoming to non guests to let you walk through to access or to go out from the beach.
