Hua Hin Beach - Review
Spread across a stretch of 5 kilometres, the Hua Hin Beach is informally divided into sections. The main part of the beach one sees from the road (the one having boulders scattered around) is good for people watching only! Walk down south for a while to reach the part where you will find sun bathers and swimmers having a time of their lives. If you walk up north along the beach, you will come across the family friendly side of the beach along with touristy stuff like pony rides, small cafes and the likes. The Hua Hin Beach is a must visit while on your vacation.

Hua Hin Beach, Hua Hin Reviews
Not much in facilities. It is close to town and hotels. A very long stretch of beach. Shallow water. Warm water. A muddy kind of sand. It is a beautiful very at all times of the day. There are places to eat. And there very good. Cheap in cost. Drinks also available. Bring a beach chair and relax. It's ok. Sun is very potent here. Be careful.
The restaurants crowd the shore so that you actually eat with your feet in the water. Which is cool -- for the person eating but not for the dozens walking by and having to go ankle deep just to pass. I did both. Some restaurants reasonably priced. One big caution: Jellyfish and rays all over the beach. There should be some kind of signage and warning about them! The beach is accessible from town, frequented by local families, tourists, and old Western guys and their teenage "girlfriends". Not the best beach. You could skip it and not miss anything. Beaches are better in the islands.
Morning on the beach is really great. The beach does not have the big waves for swimming in the early morning but walking along the beach and see the sunset are actually wonderful experience.
Nice beach, clean. Possible to hire lounge chairs and umbrellas. You can get food and drinks from your chair, just call. Prices are just like in the local restaurants. There are some sharp, barnacled rocks in the water. They also break the waves so children can also play on the shore.
Not a huge fan of Hua Hin Beach, far too commercialized for my liking. If you want a really nice beach just head south 10 minutes to Khao Takiab, beautiful white sands, far less touristy.
