Sam Pan Nam Floating Market, Hua Hin Reviews
I have a Thai ID but I don't look Thai yet they still force us to pay 200 baht entrance fees. Once upon a time, it was free for us. I strongly urge you NOT TO PAY 200 Baht for this. You can see a better genuine floating market in Bangkok.
“”””DO NOT GO, ITS A WASTE OF MONEY”””” This is not a floating market and you get charged 200 baht to see nothing but a market. Markets like this are free. You should not have to pay. It’s tourist trap. “”””DO NOT GO, ITS A WASTE OF MONEY””””
Its low season so the venue was pretty quiet many outlets closed I think it will be different later in the year. Good parking and the noodle soup was great will visit again. This place is based around a lake, the one I visited in bangkok was based on a river and very busy with great food to buy.
An artificial lake with some shops around. More than half of the shops closed. The rest selling the same tourist gifts like everywhere else. Not worth a visit. Everything looks artificial, no atmosphere at all. In my eyes, this is the worst Talad Naam I saw until today, if you can even call this Floating Market.
Reached at 9am Sunday morning. Paid 200 Baht entrance fee per person for foreigners. Place run down and many shops empty. Range of offering mainly for locals. Ticket include a 10 minutes slow boat ride around a “small pond”. The best part of the attraction was the toilet which cost 5baht. Do drop by if u have too much change and lazy to visit the money changer.
