Sam Pan Nam Floating Market, Hua Hin Reviews
I think it's pretty boring. The boat ride was so so soooooooooooo boring, jesusssssssssss. But if you do go there try eating, I say the food are rather tasty.
Supposed to be a tourist attraction but when I went, there were mostly Thais. This is probably because they can get in for free but there is a racist charge of 200bt for foreigners. To be charged to go shopping around a large artificial pond is disgraceful. There is a Large car park and a small train rides for the children. A noisy boat ride is also available to go around the pond. There is a Thai tradition show on a few times a day but was not showing at the time of my visit.
Built as a turist attraction. It's a 200 baht entry. The stores are pretty cheap, and it's nice to walk around. Done make an extra effort to go there though. But if you are passing by and don't mind the entry fee it's nice.
One of the poster places for the whole of Thailand - known simply as "The Floating Market". There's probably not a thing you cannot buy down the canals and waterways of this SE Asian oddity. The sights are something to behold, and well worth a visit if you find yourself in Thailand, and looking for something to tie into a day trip!
Very nice market with a lot of natural and local made candy and chili pastes. Very good prices on everything.
