Despite the rather obnoxious presence of wires and cables filling the air, and despite its small size, this is a rather magnificent and extravagant Taoist temple. It is brightly painted, decorated with a multitude deities and dragons, has scores of vivid chinese lanterns hanging from the patio ceiling, and over 30 beautifully dressed figurines. Ask the locals and see if they can spare a moment to tell you the stories and mythologies behind the figurines. Also take a note of the charming little tea shop across the crossing right in front of the temple. It is said to serve a delicious combination of strong black tea and sandwiches.
