This accessible and easy to explore wetland at the foot of Mount Masi covers an area of about 12 hectares. The waters of the wetland, fed by the Fudeng River, provide the habitat for about a hundred different species of aquatic plants. The queen of the flowers here is the lotus, which bloom in pretty colors between the months of May and August. Events organised here around this time will give valuable insights into the fishing methods, cooking methods, lives and culture of the aboriginals, the Ami Masai, who inhabit this area. Fish and frogs are not the only animals that thrive in these waters though; birdies may want to keep their cameras at ready too. It might be a good idea to check out the park museum before you go exploring though. The exhibits provide understanding of the ecological treasures you shall see . Annual events at the park include:
