The Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation is a humanitarian volunteer relief organisation. Tzu Chi is also one of the four major Buddhist organisations, and the largest such organisation in Taiwan. Their work focuses on dharma, recycling, medicine, disaster relief, and medical education. A visit to the organisation’s campus will reveal the following highlights: a maple trail, various features of Buddhist architecture on the campus buildings including a handful of monuments, recycling station, an organic garden, and miscellaneous events. The tour will also provide you with an overview of the work done by the foundation. The complex contains both the Tzu Chi Foundation hospital and the Temple.
