  • Beautiful park. We rented the Pavilion for an outing on Sunday and the staff was super friendly when we arrived and helpful. The swim area was clear and calm, really enjoyed getting in the water.

  • The place is beautiful, it's a great place to swim, go in a jetski, have a good time with family. However, you should watch your belongings at all times. My sister got her nike sandals stolen that she has had over 6 years, she left them on the shore for 5 minutes while we went on the jet ski, when we were back, they were gone. We looked everywhere and couldn't find them. They float on the water and no they weren't there. A lady that was there also told us that she got her $500 pool float stolen there. They should enforce cameras. Also it costs $15 for the parking. They don't accept refunds. So if it starts raining as soon as you get there, you just lost those $15 so it's a good idea to check the weather forecast before you go. Besides that it's a beautiful lake.

  • I came here today, October 18th, 2018, to witness history in the making. As of the time I was there, Lake Travis water level was 701.62', making it the 5th all-time highest water level. There are only 4 floodgates open currently, and the water is rising as I'm typing this. The "current" forecast is for the Lake to rise to an incredible 710'+, making it only 4' away from the spillway. With Buchanan dam still having open floodgates, filling Travis constantly, and with another 2-5" of rain in the forecast.. Things may get interesting for the city of Austin!!

  • Normally this is a nice little quiet Park but I visited it today because of the flooding going on nearby But by now things are pretty much back to normal so check out this little Park for a great view of the river down from the dam

  • There’s no true protection for your personal belongings once you hit the water. Unfortunately the place is always overcrowded on the weekends. It’s a little frustrating when you come back to your truck side swiped and when you Bring it to the “authorities “ attention, the Problem isn’t taken seriously (as he jokes with his buds) the problem has yet to be resolved. However the police on the water are quick to pass out unnecessary tickets to my fellow boaters and we deal with constant harassment. Another “BIG” thing to note is One of the authority figures actually followed my wife AND CHILDREN into the Bathroom even though he’s a male and so was my child. You can’t make this stuff up. It’s unfortunate because this place USED to be nice now it seems a place to for constant harassment. We just want to have fun. But this is not the place anymore. Garbage.
