  • Very neat! I'm not a huge fan of history movies but going in here and being able to see original memorabilia such as letters and veteran id's was like stepping back on time. It blows my mind that this things have been preserved for so many years. They have so many original tanks and jeeps and guns and uniforms. We easily spent 3 hours looking at things. All of the people working there are veterans and it was wonderful having them show us around and talk to us about many of the items and how they were attained. A definite must for anyone. A little gem in the heart of Huntsville. Thank you to all who serve and have served, we appreciate your service.

  • Awesome!!! Lots of military vehicles tanks air craft etc as well as photos and uniforms and items from wars starting with confederacy. Volunteer guides give details and offer stories about many of the articles. Great historic capsule to teach kids and catch up on past history details of what made and keeps USA free. Reasonable admission and contributions accepted after you have toured.

  • This was a very nice museum. One of the employees gave us a brief tour filled with a great deal of information. The building appears small from the outside but you'll be amazed how much is inside. Be sure to stop by.

  • An amazing amount of military history is being kept for generations to come. Relaying soley on donations and volunteers, the efforts to preserve the artifacts and vehicles does not go unnoticed. We were told by a volunteer that the city will be adding on to the building in the future so they will have more room to display the artifacts. There are so many and their space is filling up. Allow for an hour and half at least, there is a lot to see!

  • When in Huntsville, Alabama, this is a must see for a little history lesson & little Love for our veterans. Don't forget to leave a donation of some amount & a sentiment of gratitude before you leave. ❤
