An ancient monastery with no recorded period of construction, though the first renovation took place in early 14th century. The white Cypress trees in the surrounding and great architecture make it worth visiting.

  • After visiting the fortress and wandering in the center for a couple hours, I decided to look for a place to take a break and this is the place I was looking for. The monastery is just a few minutes walk from the town center and a place to enjoy the serenity and avoid the crowd. Sitting in backyard and relaxing in the cool ocean breeze really takes the stress away.

  • Beutiful inside the Monastry.

  • It cost money to go inside, I think it was because of a consert. Pritty outside, even in the dark.

  • Peaceful and a little bit less crowded then the rest of the Hvar...

  • A nice place to visit. While you are at the beautiful but crowded bay you may drop in to a nice and quite church.
