A Roman Catholic cathedral in the town of Hvar, St. Stephen’s cathedral is also known as Katedrala Svetog Stjepana. It is one of the most impressive buildings of Hvar and is built on the site of a 6th century Christian church and later a Benedictine convent of St. Mary.
