Hveragerdi - Stone And Mineral Museum Reviews & Ratings

  • The geology and fossil collection was very interesting. The shop features hand crafted gifts made of local materials at very reasonable prices. There are beautiful horses outside. I highly recommend visiting.

  • Can't recommend this place. It's an arguably nice private collection of stones, but not more. I don't believe in healing stones or crystals, and found the described properties/powers of the stones a bit dubious. Don't go if you expect a proper museum.

  • Well worth a visit. Make sure to meet Thor a local who collects the minerals and even can recall date and place. Make sure to pick up your dragon glass at various prices Game of Thrones fans.

  • Interesting find. Close to the golden circle.

  • Not open when we're there. Poor signage.!
