Brabyns Park is one of the largest parks in Marple and remains bordered by the Peak Forest Canal and the River Goyt. The park encompasses woodland, a parkland, playing fields and riverside walks. The park is also home to a beautiful Georgian Iron Bridge that was built in the year 1813 and restored in the year 2012. It was constructed so as provide a crossing over the river that runs through the park. There are plenty of green areas for the kids to enjoy while dogs are also allowed, and they too can run around, exercise and have fun.
