Jagannath Temple, Hyderabad Reviews
One of the beautiful shrine you will visit in Hyderabad. Beautifully structured & well maintained. It looks very similar to the Jagannath Temple, Puri. The wall paintings are amazing! Parking place ample. The temple also organizes spiritual talks too.
I belong to North India and I have been to many temples in there. But never I have seen such decency maintained in temples. I liked how everyone was standing peacefully during the Aarti and there was no hustle around. The parking is free and you can keep your footwear outside also for a minimum charge of ₹10.
The temple is beautiful - colorful and well-done. I was welcomed at each shrine. Other visitors, all appeared to be Indian, were blessed. (Blessings only for Hindus) The floor is black marble with scattered white squares. This matters because you have to remove your shoes to enter, and the black tiles got very hot - hard to step on them. Tip: bring thick socks. There aren't many places to sit and little protection from the sun. This beautiful, warm (feeling) and well-maintained temple was a pleasure to visit, but lingering would be difficult.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere here at the temple. Very clean, very well maintained, well managed. The architecture of the temple, the murals, wall paintings are great. Parking is bit of a problem, especially on Pooja days. The temple also organizes spiritual talks often by saints. Visit for peace of mind..
