Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park, Hyderabad Reviews
This is a huge park situated in Jubilee hills area away from city's pollution. Park is well maintained and is famous with localities as you see many people coming here for walking or jogging. Park opens at 5 am and is closed by 9:30 am. It opens again at 4 pm and closes by 6 pm. I would recommend to go early morning so that you get to keep your car. Don't forget to carry your own water bottle. Many people also come here to play various sports like badminton, yoga etc.
Nature at its best. The only park in Hyderabad that will disconnect you from the entire world. Peacocks walking around, the yoga hut etc. they have maintained it really well. The monthly pass for the park works out really cheap for regular runners. There are clean toilets that one can use and also water facility every little distance. The best park one can go to in Hyderabad.
A nature lovers paradise. Originally the land belonged to the King Nizam and this place still has his Palace and a mosque in it. Over 400 acres of greens in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. To avail the great jogging tracks within the park, which one must pay a nominal amount of RS 25 for an adult and Rs 10 for a child. They also have a outer area, which is free for all. Regular patrons can opt for monthly pass as well. The park has so many species of trees and birds alike. Peacocks are a common sighting. So beautiful to see in all it's grandeur.
Very well maintained national park. You can enter by paying Rs. 25 for elders and Rs. 15 for children (upto the age of 12 years). Opens at 4.30 am to 9.30 am in morning and 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm in evening. No fee payable to use 'Free walkways' on both sides of main gate (left and right) also available with better scenic beauty and beautiful flowers and well maintained plants. Park offers restrooms, drinking water, clean walkway with genuine jungle look and you have to buy tickets for entry. But free walkways offer exotic locations, beautiful steps, well-maintained gardens, flowers and plants without restrooms and drinking water facilities. Try both.
A great place for nature lovers right in the heart of the city. It's a little difficult to believe that there could be such a beautiful green cover inside the city - once you get inside you just don't feel you are in Hyderabad. Great place for walkers, runners and tondo your yoga. You have peacocks to accompany you with a variety of flora to give you enriched oxygen. The park could be even more well maintained by the authorities hence a star less. They have got membership card facilities however it is currently on hold.
