As a part of the urban development program in Hyderabad, the Lumbini Park (known as T Anjaiah Lumbini Park- named after the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh), is where locals go to unwind and see a spectacular 3D laser show. If You would like to do some boating within Hyderabad then this is the place.. Boating with different ranges available Motorboat, Disco dance boat, Family boat and other few Varieties available. A Simple Amusements park for children.. With few eateries also can be found here..
It is not much impressive. Fun to go with few activities here. But prices are on a higher end. Crowded place. We had a bad experience here. They have collected money & made us to sit in that auditorium even though Laser show wasn't there. Simply wasted our time as well as money. No one took the responsibility of apologising or rearranging the show. Crowd was around 2000. They might had collected at least 100000bucks from the gathering and escaped. It is nothing but cheating & definitely a black dot to Hyderabad tourism.
The park is not what I expected. First of all even after being near many historic buildings and kind of in the middle of the city, it's still not maintained properly. There's no proper crowd management. The people who store your baggage are careless. There's not enough police or security presence. The laser show being conducted is not at all interesting. The lake adjacent to the park is so dirty that , one cannot even go near it. It seems like the lake has not been cleaned at all. Next I would like to point out the disturbance from hawkers. The park could be better if it's properly maintained, If theres proper crowd management, proper storage facility for bags and other articles. And atleast clean that lake once in a while. It looks so bad.
Good place to spend the evening before dinner watching the laser show. The park is also good to spend lovely time with families. However not all the parts of the laser show will make you wonder except the one which is related to our country. Cold and fresh air. The audio system is bit loud. Show is in evening which starts @18:15 Note: There are two different tickets for laser show and park entry. Do carry cash as the whole city is still following the old tradition of trade.
