Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park - Review
The Mahavir Harina Vanasthali Wildlife Park dates back 1975 and was named after Lord Mahavir- the Jain saint. The wildlife park is most famous for being home to Black Buck Deer- an endangered species that is found in India and Pakistan. The park extends to cover an area of 15 kilometre and accommodates more than 80 species of migratory birds along with innumerable indigenous species. The rare Short-toed Eagle is also found here along with partridges, quails, peacocks, doves, kingfishers and vultures.
The best way to explore the park is by taking a wild-life safari that offers close encounters with the majestic creatures and gives you a peek into the animal’s life in its natural habitat. Do take time to see many tree and plant species that are preserved here - Neem, Bauhinias and Acacias among others.

Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park, Hyderabad Reviews
There isn't much park enough.. There is little park around.. And it mostly covered up with couples... And a small museum... And the main thing which you find here is the deer safari which will lasts not more than 15 minutes... You can find 30+ deers , some peacocks and boars.. Not much than that... Rather than spending time here.. Better go for Zoo, there you can find lot more animals..additional to this
This is a national park ( deer Park ) located in Vanastalipuram on Vijayawada highway in Hyderabad city. It's area is more than 10,000 acres. It's the largest green space in the city. Guided tours are available & it was good enough. The park is maintained by the Telangana state forest department. There is a lot of species of Flora & fauna . It's open from 9 am to 6 pm Monday is holiday. It's an ideal getaway from the noise & pollution in the city. We had a gr8 time bird watching, animal watching, nice place to walk and spending time in groups.
Not bad for a casual 30 minutes to 1 hr visit. Just do a Safari and casual stroll for butterfly garden. Nothing much to do there other than that. If you want to spend more time, carry badminton or similar
Its a goog place and worth watchng. Highly recommended for family on weekends and affordable prices and have a try. Inside its so large and vast area and transport inside can be provided by them it seems so can be recommended undoubtedly
Visited this place for a small photoshoot with my wife and few friends. The place is good enough to capture some of the candids. I wouldn't say the park is great but decent. The greenery is decent as well. And guess what, the entry ticket is just Rs. 20/- per head and no extra charges for photo shoot. If you have low budget and couldn't afford to pay some amount for a photoshoot, this is the ideal place. Thanks.
