One of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad and in India, Mecca Masjid lies just 200 yards to the southwest of the Charminar. The mosque is named after the significant religious destination of Islam- Mecca. The bricks of the central arch of this magnificent building were brought from the holy city of Mecca.
The Masjid was the centre point of the old Hyderabad city planned by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah. Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad Reviews
There's nothing to see. Only a big space, nothing more. In my personal experience they don't give you to enter in the premises. There's a sign board says outsiders are not allowed. We're Indians, and here we are outsiders. Great. Now you understand what's the value of people other than Muslim religion.
Good religious place. Big, clean and spiritual place to be in. There is dress code for girls and have to removed footwear's at stall. Inside there is fountain where you have to washes your feet and hands before getting into Masjid. During there prayer time they only allow there case people. Location near Charminar, very busy street and goods option to come here by walk.
