  • A beautiful and painful collection of art and scientific articles by the Nijams ministry before independence. But it’s charm has lost because of poor maintenance and insiders commercial trading. There were many precious collections from across the globe which you never see in your entire life were presented there. The clock in which a Toy man comes from inside then clock and bangs the bell 12 times when it is 12 noon. Marvellous to watch. You can see a sculpture made from stone but looks like a silk dress wore on a beautiful woman.

  • You have to buy ticket for photography which is 150₹ and the entry for adult is 100₹ so i dont have any photos of the display. The museum is very nice. All the bits and pieces are so amazing (only if you are interested in such things). I would suggest to hire a guide to understand all the things(that too again if you are interested in knowing) the museum is little hard to find if you are driving by yourself. It is part museum, part school and part junior college made in Nizaam's Palace premises.

  • Worth a visit when you've 2 hour of extra time. Don't take guides. They just hurry through the collections and sometimes even misinform. Better go through the items by yourself.

  • The maintenance of the MUSEUM is very poor.. If Nizams family is unable to maintain, can be given to some private company.... Although the items kept there are unique.. Wide publicity all over the world so more and more foreign and Indian tourists can visit...
