  • I've done around 60 escape rooms with a few friends of mine and have experienced some terrific rooms, and some not so terrific rooms. We were extremely excited to visit Delray Escape, which we were told about by another escape room owner. We heard awesome things about it so tried it out. When we got to the office building that it's in, we were quickly and easily able to find the suite that Delray Escape is in. We walked in to a room covered with names of the people that escaped and were very surprised to find that some people escaped very quickly (some escaped in 31 minutes, which is incredibly quick). Naturally, my friend and I thought it would be a breeze. When we were brought into the room, we loved the decoration. But from there out, the experience went downhill. Rather than having tons of locks and Riddles and puzzles, this room was more of a scavenger hunt. We found ourselves looking for random objects in random places (it reminded me of geocaching, if you're familiar with that). There was one part that tripped us up for about 15 minutes that seemed impossible. The game master actually had to come into the room and complete the task for us, which really takes away from the experience. Though it definitely wasn't the worst room I've done, there are plenty of others in the area that I would try before coming here that offer a much better experience of what an escape room is.

  • Awesome experience. I went with a group of 5 friends for my birthday and we had a blast. It was challenging and enjoyable. The staff was so friendly and made the night one to remember. I cannot wait to see the new room once it's completed... the challenge is ON! Definitely recommended.

  • Last Friday night my sister and best friend went to Area 51 with their boyfriend's. Thanks to the highly trained staff, intellectual clues and colorful escape room the 4 shared a very memorable experience. Eiton, the manager, helped me set up a surprise engagement by incorporating the ring into the puzzle. They had so much fun in the escape room that even after being proposed to they finished the game! Josh was instrumental in ensuring everything went smoothly. We are planning another night there very soon so I can join them this time. My sister said, "you would love the escape room, it's so interesting and fun."

  • This was a really great design and thought-out process! Some of the things that I look for in picking my next escape room are multiple rooms within, unique ways items and clues are hidden, and rooms that seem to be built for the theme instead of a theme built inside a normal room. The Area 51 room had it all. We had a blast here and can't wait for their next room to open. Very well designed and also an excellent host!

  • This place is an amazing find. The owners are super nice and make you feel welcome. The prices are unbeatable. We will definitely be back for their new additions.
