The Puerto de Ibiza technically refers to the tiny cove or bay around which Ibiza Town’s main marinas are clustered, which are used for commercial, passenger and fishing purposes. The bay has been a port for more than 2500 years, ever since the time of the Carthaginians.
There are so many things to do here that the marina probably qualifies as a tourist trap. Just walking the entire curvature while people and/or boat watching (especially the mega-yachts) are popular. There are scores of cute little boutiques. There are excessive number of restaurants, coffee shops and ice-cream parlours. At night the district’s clubs and bars and restaurants are quite racy. Naturally, LGBTQ presence is strong.
There are three main docking areas - the Nueva Marina, the Marina Botafoch, and the Ibiza Magna. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Ibiza itinerary 5 days.
- Ferries from Denia, Valencia, Formentera, Palma de Mallorca, and Barcelona primarily dock here when coming to Ibiza.
- By Car
- Come in via cruise ship.

Very nice small town Woth lot of things going on around. Lot of parties and good bars and restaurants. All the bars that i visit has a good service fair prices and good cocktails Also service was very good. In port there is a lot of things to do and to see. Lot of small stores where you can find everything from 1€ to 1000€. Overall experience was positive
I know realise I need a yacht. I will become a wealthy entrepreneur, build an empire with multiple income streams solely so I can moor a hatch here. At last I have discovered my true path.
I really enjoyed looking around the harbour it had some huge millionaire boats..reminded of being in Puerto bunus. Lots of restaurants and bars. Lots of lovely shops to look around suveniors shops to designer clothes.. The old part of Ibiza is so lovely its lovely to sit at a bar and watch the world go bye. A visit up to the castle is a must..A long walk up many steps.but great view from the top over looking the harbour and the town.. Highly recommend..
Very nice place to see , some stores in the area . All the cruise ships dock and let people out for a few hours
Quite an active harbour with plenty of shops and cafes, though rather touristy and so prices are high for what is on offer but if you go into the backstreets you find a better variety of stock and prices to suit everyone. The only hippies I saw were the statues!
