The Matai Garden is an impressive stretch of lush greenery which is also popularly referred to as Ibudhou Asheiningthou Garden, named after Ibudhou Asheiningthou, a local God. The sprawling garden attracts a lot of people because of its idyllic setting. The main attraction here at the garden is the extensive variety of Duranta plant which grows here. There are little huts comprising of seats where one can sit back and relax and enjoy a little picnic.
