Previously named as Manguk Park, Jayu Freedom Park is located in Mt. Eungbongsan, near the port. This park also has another name, Seo Park, when the Japanese power became stronger. However, after the statue of General MacArthur was erected, the park got its present name. At present, the statue of General MacArthur is one of the tourist attractions in Jayu Park.
The entire park has been turned into an open museum with full of information and history of Korea. Beside its historical collection, the park is also famous for giving great view of the Incheon city. The pigeon cage provides the best view and actually tells you that incheon is a harbor city. You can even see the downtown area and the freight boats entering and leaving the Incheon port. Beautiful park with a lot to see. Plenty of spots to just sit and enjoy.
Nice place to walk through, but there's not much there. Go across to Wolmi for a better walk and view.
Park where you can chill out. Near China town.
Good place for walking and enjoying scenary
It's located in East Incheon near the China Town. There are pretty and well organized paths. Also, there are a couple of famous monuments; the Korean-USA centennial Monument, the status of MacArthur. It's a great park.
