Burt Lake State Park Reviews & Ratings
It was a very clean and will maintained park. The sites are of pretty good size so we weren't right on top of our neighbors. My only real complaint it the location of the for pit on our lot (87). It was on the incline of a small hill, forcing us to all gather on one side of the pit, while making it harder to cook because of the type of grate we had it slanted with the fire pit. I would suggest if anyone from the park reads this move site 87 fire pit down the hill to a flatter area.
Excellent place to camp right on Burt Lake! I have been here many times camping with my family. We have had multiple camping spots and I don’t think there is a bad spot in the place. Bugs were not too bad this year. Definitely recommend checking out the river float right next door. For boaters, the chain of lakes is always a fun time.
Loved "The Cross In The Woods!!!" Hope to get to enjoy it more one day... to take the time needed to appreciate it without having to pass quickly through. 💖
Great place to camp. Mostly level paved roads. Level lots. 4 Bathroom buildings. BEAUTIFUL LAKE and swim area. Room to anchor your boat in the water.
Great park. But.... they really need to pay more attention to the bathrooms! The total of 4 nights we have spent at the park there has not been one incident that I have gone to the bathroom's and was not disappointed in the cleanliness. PS. People drive really fast through the park. The DNR (no joke) seem to drive the fastest. It's a park, what's your hurry!
