Friendly staff, food good Coney's (make sure to add cheese and onions). Unique tasty onion rings. Slightly greasy but hand dipped and some of the best in town. Burgers good (get the Angus ones), Cole slaw fair. Root beer floats I hear are quite good. Breaded tenderloins good, hammered and breaded in house. Can be a bit on the dry side, mayo recommended.
Okay, this place rocks. I love the decor and the music, but honestly, the food tops it all. I tried the Chicken Filet sandwich, and it was AWESOME. The bun that it was served on was perfect, too. I highly recommend trying one! And you might also consider trying the breaded mushrooms... those were quite delicious. My only complaint is the location; it's situated right next to a giant plot of industry. This isn't the restaurant's fault, but it's really unfortunate... I wish that looking out of the windows at a happy, nostalgic place didn't mean seeing an industrial site!
This is a family owned business. They have been in business since the 50s. It was originally Dog N Suds. Still have the same menu and same owners. Still have hand breaded tenderloins and onion rings. Curb service if you want to eat in your car. They care about their employees and their customers. Stop in, enjoy the food and the free jukebox.
Swing and a miss. (Actually my 2nd try here so 2 swings & another miss)This could be a really great 50's style place. Mediocre food, very impersonal counter staff service. Heard they were famous for the breaded tenderloin. Wrong. Terrible pork fritter sandwich. Truly a shame because with the right management I think it could be a GREAT place.
Wow we were there last week. It's been awhile and now they are charging for condiments, in fact they charged 29 cents for a piece of lettuce on a tenderloin that tasted like it had been on a warmer for hours. We paid over $40 for three people and bought a growler. That sucked too since the root beer was flat. The Dr pepper was only carbonation and my husband's French fries were All LITTLE PIECES. What a disappointment. Never will I eat there again! Keep your lettuce!
