Annapurna Temple - Review
Resembling the famous Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, this temple dedicated to Goddess Annapurna is equally stunning. Being one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the city, this temple always has devotees, as well as, tourists visiting here in hordes. The main entrance is adorned by sculptures of four life-sized elephants, welcoming you to this holy place. The carvings on the outer walls depicting stories of ancient warriors show off the architectural genius of this temple. Inside the temple there are three shrines dedicated to Shiva, Hanuman and Kalabhairava. The main deity, Annapurna is the goddess of food, thus she is shown holding a ladle and a container of porridge in her hands, and it is believed that no one ever goes hungry after worshipping her with complete faith.

Annapurna Temple, Indore Reviews
A temple devoted to Goddess Annapoorna, is a well known and popular temple among the people of Indore and nearby places. The temple is located on a busy road, thus parking becomes a challenging task for the devotees. A great place where you can find an opportunity to pray for the blessings of God and feel the sensuousness of supernatural powers. The temple has a number of other temples, which makes the atmosphere more mystic and spiritual.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing even though it's just off a busy road. We went during the non festive season so parking was ample. There were no shops or vendors forcing us to buy any of the pooja stuff so the experience was very peaceful. The temple is brightly decorated with beautiful images of Hindu mythological figures.
A blissful temple. Attend Atri here, it makes you feel relaxed. Pandits are very nice and guide you if you need to perform some task at the Temple like Pooja, donation, etc.
One of the Biggest Temple In Indore , have different temple in one , famous for Maa Annapurna. Have sufficient parking inside . Also one school is operated by Annapurna ashram trust, there is also one vedic gurukul where masters trains the future sags .
A temple with spiritual importance to Hindus. So if you can manage time, you may visit this place. But it is in crowded area and parking is a big issue. So keep that in your mind while you visit this place. Average time required to explore: 30 minutes. Annapurna Temple, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
