Patalpani Waterfall - Review

For those visiting Indore during the monsoons, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, and head to Patalpani Waterfall. Around 35 kilometres from the main city, Patalpani is a scenic 300 feet high waterfall, that is a perfect spot for picnics with your loved ones. The best time to visit the falls is the monsoon season, when the flora around the water body is in full bloom, and the water rushes out to reach the pit.

  • Peace, peace and peace. You just can't get enough of this place. Got to love this one. Surrounded byany beautiful hills with lots of greenery. And a very beautiful waterfall in the between. A perfect place to escape from normal life and see how beautiful nature could be. But it is "not a picnic spot". You cannot except to take food their and eat peacefully you just can't. Monkeys will come and invade you and take all your snacks. They are the keeper of that place so be safe if you want to eat and enjoy the nature at the same time. Talking about how to reach there. You do have two routes for reaching the place. And mhow would be the center point for that.

  • The Patalpani Waterfall is located in MhowTehsil of Indore district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The waterfall is approximately 300 feet high. The area around Patalpani is a popular picnic and trekking spot. The water flow is highest immediately after the rainy season (usually after July). It goes almost dry in the summer season, and the stream is reduced to a trickle.

  • This place was poorly maintained. A small suggestion, I would recommend a visit only in rainy season or may be winter season. Apart from that it is really good to visit in the rainy season. Waterfalls will be really amazing. And the scenic beauty will be astonishing!

  • There is a Awesome waterfall, bigger area, nice picnic spot to spend time with friends and family near nature, in raining season the actual beauty seems, passing train from there looks good, perfect destination in raining season.

  • Beautiful place for visit with family or couples. Best only in rainy season. Good approach road. Below average cleanliness . Walk along the railway track with caution ( upto 5 kms) can be done to enjoy natural trail. Dont try to take a dip in water or go close to waterfall.
