Funky Chocolate Club Switzerland - Review

People don't immediately associate Interlaken with chocolates but this delightful and friendly workshop and chocolate making will soon fix that for you. Tatiana and Michaela offer hour long workshops. They don't just help you make your own chocolate - melting, tempering, moulding - to take back, but also serve up the full story of chocolate. All you have to bring are a willing spiritedness and a camera. They will provide the chef's aprons and hats. It's one of the most fun thing you'll do indoors in Interlaken. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Interlaken itinerary 2 days.

  • I highly recommend taking the chocolate cooking class here. Not only do you learn about chocolate in general, but also Swiss Chocolate. The instructor was very fun and spoke English well as he is from New Zealand. The fun part about the class is of course, eating the chocolate and taking some home! Note: Be prepared to pick your chocolate up the next day as it has to set.

  • Fantastic shop selling locally made chocolates in all sorts of shapes and sizes. There are some incredible novelty gifts and delicious chocolate based dishes to buy. The chocolate making workshop is the really what sets the shop apart from others in the region. Here you will learn all the basics of chocolate origins, cooking, decorating and then take your creations home. Excellent fun!!!

  • A must for all travellers to Interlarken! The chocolate making class was the highlight of our trip so far. Lots of tastings, learning about chocolate and tempering your own chocolate and making three individual bars to take home. A fantastic way to spend an hour! Thanks to the team for a great experience.

  • We came here based on the recommendation from our canyoning guide, who's a local. The chocolate was freshly made, and very delicious. There's a unique taste to the hot chocolate that we couldn't quite pin down what it was, but definitely made it more special.

  • Very cute store that sells all things chocolate. We popped by here on our first day in Interlaken and really enjoyed looking at the chocolate replicas of watches, cameras, and bread baskets. They also offer chocolate making classes which unfortunately we arrived too late to participate. There is a small table and counter with seating towards the back where you can enjoy some of their delicious chocolate treats. We highly recommend their chocolate cake smothered in liquid chocolate and cold hot chocolate. The cold hot chocolate wasn't as sweet as most that we are used to but it's packed with chocolaty flavor and that's how we liked it. Staff was super friendly!
