You read that right. This is a walk, not a hike. It's a stroll of about 700 metres from the cableway station Wengen Männlichen to Mannlichen peak. The walk itself does not look like anything special - a plain gravel pathway, coursing in a silver line through bright green meadows. But it's when you reach the end, to the summit at 2,343 meters above sea level, that you fall in love. Spread out below you like the villages of Grindelwald and the Valley of Lauterbrunnen.
