  • We enjoyed our time camping in the rustic part of the park. We could also enjoy the beach at the other part of the park to sit or swim. The rangers were nice. Not to loud of people during the night, not sure on the busy side. It also has two boat launches for two different lakes, boating and great to kayak They even rent kayaks at the camp store. Enjoy your stay. Beautiful place

  • Camped at site 11 in mid September and enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Only the north campground was open but there were plenty of available sites even during a gorgeous Indian summer week. When using the beach or picnic area we found that no restrooms in that area were open and found it necessary to trek back to the campground.

  • Spent a wonderful week camping here. This will be put on our list of great State parks! Sites are Well laid out and not too close together. Bathrooms and showers are clean. We’ll definitely consider coming back here next year.

  • What a wonderful time! Nice sites, clean bathrooms, quiet campground that's close to just about anything you'd like to go do! We will be back! The fire pits were nice and clean! Bring your bicycles... Nice bike paths to Bud's Ice Cream and the Interlochen Art Center! Really enjoyed our week here!

  • Wonderful state park camp ground! There are biking trails and the most beautiful view! Only downside is the water smells and tastes like someone farted on your face and tongue. The view makes up for it.
