  • Very informative exhibition. Totally worth the ticket price. There are people explaining certain parts of the exhibition and you can ask all sorts of questions from them. The Moor is nice. Lots of trails in there so you can have a nice long walk or just stick to the shortest possible one and visit the memorial. We arrived 2 hours before closing time and spent it all. Could actually have done with 30 extra minutes.

  • A nice combination of eerie history, nature and beautiful Scottish scenery. If you're in Inverness this is a must see. On a nice day have a stroll around the battlefield (it's free) and see where key battles took place. They will give you a guide at the visitor center. There is also a paid museum inside of you have time. And best thing is dogs are allowed on the battlefield!

  • A thoughtful and engaging site to visit. There's a museum with visuals and tours and speakers. There's a very moving video stage that gives you a compelling storyline for the battle of Culloden. Outside you'll find the markers for clan fells and tribute to the stunning battlefield. Truly an emotionally engaging experience!

  • Powerful, powerful ground. So much hinged here. And standing in the center of the moor, it's clear the Highlanders didn't stand a chance. Poor generaling to engage here. They've done a wonderful job with the visitors center. Low impact visually, but housing all a modern facility of this type should. Well done, all. A unique and sacred place.

  • Easy to find with road signs on highway. You can explore free of charge the site of the battlefield on a few well-marked paths. There is the option to pay to watch the film at the Visitors' Center. A cafeteria and gift shop are there as well. We saw a double rainbow at sunset. What perfect timing!
