Built in between 1845 and 1851, the Osborne House served as a Summer home and rural retreat for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The former royal residence was built in the Italian style of architecture. Today the house, as well as the grounds, are open for public tours. Walking through the mansion, you can see the British royalty through many personal possessions displayed in the rooms. The large grounds are also well-maintained and are ideal for a leisure stroll.
