  • Extremely recommended for a romantic dinner. Great food and service at reasonable prices all offered at a 2000 years old castle in the middle of the bosphorus. You get picked up and dropped off by one of their boats. We enjoyed our 4 coarse dinner

  • Seeing the Bosphorus from a small island in the middle of the sea is a great experience. It is worth to go and see the both Anatolian and European shore at the same time from the top of the tower. On cold days it gets very windy, so it may be hard to take a good photo. And better to go on a clear sky day to see the sunset. For students 15₺, adults 25₺ There is a restaurant inside the tower. The prices are lower than I’d expected, maybe average.

  • As the name says it's literally a Maiden's tower. A Byzantine king saw the dream of his beloved daughter bitten by snake when she turns 18. So he built this tower to protect her. Little did he know that Destiny unravels in most curious ways. She did get bitten by a snake which came in a fruit basket.

  • Worth a visit for the views, adventure and history of the place. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and a gift shop if needed, bathrooms as well. You will need to buy a ferry ticket from the shore closest to the island. The boats servicing it run roughly every 15 to 30 minutes for the very short ride across.

  • This is my favourite sight in Istanbul. It’s beauty is tremendous and watching it from the Asian side of Istanbul is so serene and peaceful. To get there you take a cute little boat from Uskudar which takes you onto the little island of the tower in the middle of the Bosphorous. From the tower you can get an amazing 360 degree view of Istanbul whilst enjoying nice cuisine at the restaurant in the tower. There is also an opportunity to dress up as an ottoman sultan and get to learn some history and the myths regarding this tower. The tower it self is a gorgeous piece of architecture! This is not to be missed in Istanbul!
