Sakip Sabanci Museum, Istanbul Reviews

  • I ate at MSA restaurant at this location. Food was delicious, appetizers were delicious and the main course was amazing. For main course I had the Duck, really delicious and a large portion. Three of us shared this large plate. They also have a good selection of wines. I would like to go again. The restaurant is run by culinary school students, service is a bit slower but the kitchen is great.

  • All information in the temporary exhibition was in Turkish only. The calligraphy permanent exhibition was very interesting and well presented, and as long as the Calligraphy Museum remains closed is the only place in İstanbul to understand Arabic calligraphy and its significance in Turkish culture. The building is also interesting and part of the exhibition is dedicated to presenting the building itself. If you are a tourist, don't be put off by the museum's location, it's an excellent excursion, easily reached by boat and is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown İstanbul.

  • The museum and it s garden is a must see in Istanbul. It is an incredible house which turned in to a nice museum. The garden offers views of bosphorus in a very peaceful silent environment. There is also a very nice restaurant just located in the terrace where you can relax while watching the view and tasting the amazing menu.

  • There are great global exhibitions. The ambiance of the place is amazing with to bosphorus view, botanic garden and the lovely buildings. The exhibition building consists of three floors and if you need elevator is an option.

  • Outstanding food, service, wine, DJ and view. One of my most memorable meals.
