Hanafubuki, Ito Reviews - Write a Review
My stay at Hanafubuki was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was accommodating and nice, and the food, while not catered to a western palate, was excellent and interesting. The hot springs themselves were amazing. If you decide to stay here, do not miss the morning walk with the surprisingly nimble proprietor of the ryokan. It is definitely worth doing.
Beautiful hot spring resort. Friendly, helpful staff. Spendy, but worth it, with 7 private onsen to choose between, stocked with amenities, and kaiseki meal included (dinner and breakfast). Note that the regular rooms don't have private bathrooms, as showers and toilets are adjoined to the onsen.
This is a fantastic hotel. The staff is overwhelmingly hospitable. The food is incredible and the springs feel fantastic.
Wonderful place to relax, experience a gorgeous nature and crafted with love Japanese food
We had lunch at the Japanese restaurant and there seems to also be a Western style coffee shop in their gift shop. They also have a Japanese style "party room for large groups". The theme of the restaurant is flowers so the lunch set they offered had the cherry blossom in some dishes. The course or set lunches start from 2,000 yen and is quite filling. The items were locally procured with an accent on healthy. The dishes were beautifully presented and each were described by the server as they csme. The food tasted good but as I favor more spicy flavors, I gave 4 stars even though the ladies in our group thought the dishes were excellent. The seating is tatami style and on the floor but they offer raised seats or minichairs for people that can't sit comfortably on the floor. They also have a ryokan or Japanese style inn that you can stay at. The entire establishment is traditional Japanese in theme and very beautiful and they are happy to have guests from overseas.
