  • Well maintained, fun for the whole family. Beautiful trails, dog friendly. Don't miss out on some of the special events that go on, especially in the summer. Free for all CT residents with plenty of parking. Lots of places to set up a day camp and swim and BBQ if that's your thing, or head out on the miles and miles of fantastic trails.

  • Love hiking here. From moderate, easy, paved walks to climbing on the rocks for something a little more challenging. The swamp walk is super cool, too. Interesting wild life out there.

  • We had a wonderful day there! Picnic and practice for the wedding of our son and his fiancée. Beautiful weather. The bathrooms are new and clean. We haven't been there in years and it was a pleasant surprise. Definitely going back!

  • Great state park we visit all the time. Nice walking trails fishing swimming and nice facilities

  • I have been to this state park so many times over the years and I always find something new to do here. Plenty of trails to walk & hike, swimming area, fishing, boardwalk nature trail and it's all in a nice wooded area. There are also public facilities here to use the bathroom and change your little ones when the need arises. CT residents get in free now which is great.
