We've been here with the kids twice now. It's lovely. The walkways are well maintained and easy to get round both with my kids (2yrs to 10yrs) and my parents (in their 70s). It is popular so get their early. There are cameras you can adjust to try to spy sleeping bats, natural labyrinths to explore, and the stunning rock formations you would hope to find. Oh, and a chapel carved into the wall of the cave too which is worth a look.
Nice place to visit if you are in the area. Keep in mind that the temperature inside is always 13 degrees Celsius, so maybe it's a good idea to have a light coat with you.
Brilliant example of caves in the Rhone - Alps region. Fantastic free roaming of this cave system but on a controlled path with variations. Great for the kids. Takes about 75-90mins 👍👍👍
Absolutely brilliant place! Many natural features to marvel at, including some rare creatures 😉 I visited with a friend - we didn't take a guided tour but took our own time in exploring. I certainly recommend a visit to this wonderful place and would like to return to do some of the waymarked walks in the region. 😊
Great caves, friendly but few staff. If you want to see the bats make sure you go in the right season... I think from Autumn.
