Asansor, Izmir Reviews

  • Since many years build by a Jewish Philanthropist to save peoples energy, walking the steps up on top of the hill. There is an amazing view over the city and a nice touristic Cafe. There are lots of habitants using the elevator to get on the hill where they live a humble life. A nice mixed cosmopolitan culture up there. I asked myself if anybody don't uses the elevator because of hate. "I don't like Jews. I will walk all the steps up." 😋

  • Pretty nice place, not to spend the whole day, but it's nice for sunset where u enjoy an amazing view!! İt's free too

  • This is a very happening place in the heart of the beautiful city of Izmir. The steps leading down to the city itself is quite amazing where one can get a glimse of the daily life of the locals. After one reaches the ground level, one can walk along the sea to the city center.

  • We were living near this place. It's realy beautiful. Near is a cafe with very delicious turkish food

  • The upper side is a nice, but not awesome, viewpoint and out of there is just an old residential area. Downstairs an historical street with some bar, 10 minutes from the sea walk. There is no ticket (is free!)
