Nestled to the east of The heart of Incredible !ndia- Madhya Pradesh,  lies the city of Jabalpur.  One of the major cities of the state, Jabalpur is sometimes called the SanskaarDhani (Cultural Capital) of MP.  

Jabal, a variation of the Arabic word ‘Jah-bahl’  meaning mountain, hill or slope, depicts the topography of Jabalpur. Surrounded by hills and hillocks all around, Jabalpur portrays a picturesque painting. Many lakes surround the city as well.

Due to a high deposit of natural minerals and resources, the industries linked to the area mainly deal in limestone, bauxite, manganese, iron ore and other deposits. Apart from these, some industries also deal in garments, cement, tobacco etc.
