What lies in this popular ‘Town Square’ is beautiful elk-antler arches adorning the corners of the park proudly along with a stone memorial of John Colter sitting between its lush green surrounding. Originally an open space in the centre of the town, the place is now considered to be a great natural niche for public to gather for performances and activities held by various groups and artists. Be it the Jackson Hole Shootouts filled with intriguing legends and tell taling stories of shootout gangs taking place in the northeast corner of the park every summer or the enthralling performances of western entertainers packed with music, humor and drama, the place never leaves to enchant it visitors.

  • So very nice! Such a nice square with beautiful variety of restaurants and such! And the views going in and out of the town are great!

  • Great place to visit. Could be more dog friendly in the park. However, I do pick up after my dog. Not everyone does.

  • Fun tourist stop with lots of little shops. Historical park at the center. Great place for pictures.

  • Fun old west town with places to shop, eat and find activities for the whole family. Bring plenty of money though, things can get a bit pricey. Be smart shoppers and don't buy the first thing you see, look for the best deals on items in town. One shop will most likely have what you're looking for on sale.

  • The square is a shady oasis in the center of town. A small park, a respite from the lively commerce of the stores and restaurants that line the square and spread out for several blocks in each direction. Relax, enjoy some ice cream, take a coach ride, and enjoy street musicians.
