Maple Street Biscuit Company, Jacksonville Reviews - Write a Review
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The food is absolutely delicious and I wish I lived in the area so I could eat there all of the time. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant had really cool vibes. Definitely a place geared towards younger people since it attracts more of a trendy crowd.
Great place if you like biscuits and fried chicken. If not, the menu is a little sparse. I tried a new skillet meal which was decent, but too expensive for what it contained. Staff is attentive and friendly. My coffee was served very hot, which I personally like. They ask you a silly question to create a code word for announcing when your food is ready. Novel idea. A few more typical breakfast dishes (I couldn't find an egg biscuit?) on the menu would be a great addition. Even as is, it's worth a visit.
I love the atmosphere when you walk in. My BLT biscuit was delicious. The bacon was a little too crispy for me but really really delicious! They gat awesome sweet tea too.
First time eating there, went for lunch, limited confusing menu. Got fried chicken breast which had too much pepper for my taste. It was served over a cut in half biscuit and slice of tomato and piece of Romane lettuce, then chicken breast with bacon on top with blue cheese on the bacon and then other half of biscuit. Don't understand this concept. It is served like a biscuit sandwich which is impossible to eat. Blue cheese dressing was very good. But it would have been better to have a small side salad with lettuce, tomato and bacon with dressing with blue cheese and chicken and biscuit on the side. Probably won't go back. Nice atmosphere though.
My first time at maple street today was awesome. The service was fast and the maple vanilla latte was perfect. It's rare I get coffee that doesn't need any additional sweetener. I also love that they had the option to get my drink with almond milk. Overall great experience I will definitely be back.
